If you are packing for a trip, you never want your clothes to be wrinkled when you arrive. Even though some hotels will have irons in rooms, who wants to have to do that on vacation.
You need to decide just what you are going to take and then you will want to choose the right size suitcase. If you have one too small you will cram articles in, thus finding them wrinkled when you take them out. Also, if your suitcase is too large, your clothes will move around and again get wrinkles.
One way to keep your clothes from being wrinkled would be to pack clothes that are made out of fabrics that will not wrinkle. Of course, that is not always possible.
One mistake people make is by folding clothes and then pressing them down in a suitcase. This will only make the fold crease show more when you unfold it. If you are going to fold your clothes then try putting plastic in between as the plastic will reduce the friction which will in turn reduce the amount of wrinkles.
Another trick would be to fold a blouse and a sweater together. Fold the sweater on the inside and the blouse on the outside and you will not have creases or as many wrinkles on the blouse.
Something else that will help to keep your clothes from wrinkling and also take up less space would be to roll your clothes. Fold pants lengthwise and then start at the bottom and roll. You can roll most any article of clothing.
The use of a garment bag is also a good way to keep the winkles down, especially if you put each item in a plastic cleaner’s bag.
